Interesting article from the PG today. It's all about how Pittsburgh Transportation Group (which runs the taxis here in addition to Access and some other services) is expanding and improving. Last year they added a taxi stand in Station Square, and they are working on adding stands in the Strip and hopefully South Side, Oakland and Shadyside. Along with an expanded fleet, this should make it easier to get a cab in the city. I know that poor cab service is a common complaint here, so I am thrilled to see these changes.
