Twelve Domain

Looks like Novare Group will continue to expand in Austin, this time with a Twelve that will be located at the Domain. Tentatively it looks like it will have 360 condominiums and 130 hotel rooms. Construction should begin first quarter 2008.

Man this is big news! There have been rumors for some time that Novare was planning a project at The Domain. Based on the number of condo and hotel rooms, we might be looking at a 25+ floor struture here. If thats the case, it would easily be the tallest building outside downtown... Perhaps 2 times + the height of the next tallest (Pinnacle).

There was an article in the statesman this morning and it was saying the structure will be 28! stories high.

Good news. I had heard about the Westin being planned at the Domain, but had no idea that there was an Aloft going in too. Looks like things are progressing quickly out there.

I would assume the Westin will come out with new renderings within the next few months and likely will be more vertical.
