Raiford's Closing

Recommended Posts

This is a sad day. We are losing a memphis staple.

I heard that he sold the property to a developer who is going to put a condo unit there. Is there any truth to this?

I hope not, Raiford's was a Memphis institution...it's so sad that I won't be able to party it up there with a 40 while sitting on a leather couch under a chandelier! Those I guess were the good ole days!!! :(

I'm beginning to think that the condo developers are going to replace every business that makes downtown a worthwhile place to live with condos. It's looking more and more like a zero-sum game in the past few years.
