I thought that the light looks significantly dimmer but wasn't sure if it was just my imagination. Good call on the part of MWV on turning down the wattage a bit...

Downtown RIchmond is too dark with all the burned out tacky lighting we have... I think Oregon Hill needs to stop whining and learn how to buy shades.

Speaking of exterior lighting, whatever happened to the white lights on the roof(s) of Two James Center? They have actually been off for a while.

MeadWestvaco shows off its new headquarters at 7th and Tredegar Streets. About 650 people work in the new building but that number will increase when MWV relocates its Center for Packaging Innovation from Raleigh to Richmon.

I was going to ask to have M/WV taken down to the bottom list now that it is completed. While I'm asking, if you'd like I can have WM Center pulled down as well since it's close enough to completion?

Tommy, I think you are right about moving both of those threads.

Also, as I mentioned in the Richmond in Pictures III thread, don't you think it's time to start #IV? Of course, we'd have to have some pix to put in it.

That's a pretty cool find. It looks like if tenants are lined up the remainder of the project would be done in phases. The buildings closest to the canal look like they would have some sort of retail/hotel proponent which would be great.
