What is your favorite/best shot?

17 posts in this topic

Here's something I've always wanted to ask you guys.

We've got so many great photographers here, so what would YOU rank as YOUR best/favorite shot of the ones you have taken?

If you can't decide on one, then what would your top two or three of your shots be?

I myself have never really been able to decide between these two:

St. Simon's Island Lighthouse

And this one:

It may not be my 'best' shot but it is one of my all-time favorites:

Those are all amazing, fellas!

IC, I've heard SO much about St. Simon's Island! It's too funny you posted a picture of it. It looks like such a beautiful place. :)

A recent photo of mine, taken on the Belt Parkway, Brooklyn, NY of the Verrazano Narrows:

This is a tough topic cause I have soooo many pics I like and love but this one is my fav before I upgraded my camera. Took this from the Tokyo tower in 2004.

Wonderful shots all!

Not sure what my best is but this is still one of my favorites. I recently had it printed out to 11x14 at my camera shop and now I love it even more. :)

I've shot the Detroit skyline from probably 3 dozen buildings/rooftops downtown, but this is still my favorite angle. And in case you're wondering, there's a really crazy story behind this one.

This is one of many hundreds of shots I have of Michigan Avenue in Chicago. For some reason, this is sticking out from the rest right now.

Of course ask me in a week what my favorite photos are, and I'll come up with two photos that are different from what I'm posting now.

Here are a couple from my ancient 2.1MP Sony (DSC-S40 - good lens and some manual control options at least) - I'll post a couple from the newer Canon D300 later tonight.

I don't think this is my true "favorite" but there's something about this photo that I'm really proud of
