Best Art Deco Skyscraper in your city?

In Detroit, the best deco interior is definitely the Guardian building. And the Fisher building is no slouch.

But my favorite deco exterior would have to be the Penobscot... the setbacks near the top are very cool and streamlined.

You've got to love the Penobscot. Definately a Detroit classic. Detroit has so many great 1920s buildings! Even better than the building's exterior is the view from the roof.

In my opinion the building Bank of America is the best looking building in Miami.It lights up at night and it changes color by season.

The Bank of America tower is not Art Deco.

We lost our Tennessee Theater Tower when the Cumberland was built. It was 14 stories built in 1929. Old pics of church street in Nashville has it.

Portland's only art deco skyscraper, although its a little questionable:

The LeVeque Tower, Columbus, Ohio.

The City Hall of St. Paul, Minnesota is unusual. The exterior is somewhat drab and is in a typically Deco Moderne style:

However when you go inside it reveals itself to be like a geode, sparkling with black marble, a gold mirror ceiling and hollow bronze shafts lit from within and set into marble columns:

The Statue is by Swedish sculptor Carl Milles. It is 36 feet high and carved from Mexican onyx. It depicts a quintet of Native Americans at its base smoking peace pipes. The smoke that rises turns into the image of the Indian God of Peace. The statue rotates to the left and right:

Since the hall is so dark, it is very difficult to get a good picture of it. It's very much like stepping into something out of The Wizard of Oz.
