I thought the sign was already taken down (could be wrong, but just realized I haven't noticed it lately). In any case, i've been in the building for meetings in the past year.. it does need LOTS of help on the interior, so a major renovation is definalted needed, but totally do-able.

I wouldn't mine seeing a new office building downtown being clad in the blue-grey curtainwall elements of OUC's new building including the garage portion. that would be sharp.

Since those pictures have been taken, they have added a large scale art panel to the front side fronting Anderson.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that an investor is looking to purchase the old OUC building and convert the first 3 floors to parking, and the rest a boutique hotel or office space...interesting concept.

I wish the City would have kept this building and turned it into a modern, edgy hostel or something for travels akin to the nice hostels in Europe (well, in Spain). It would certainly get more travelers to downtown Orlando. A boutique at this location seems a bit odd to me being that it's wedged between the Expressway and OUC.
