Early Wednesday we left for GR and stayed until Thursday morning, we stayed at Courtyard by Mariott downtown. Last time we stayed at Amway but we wanted to try somewhere else. I think I am oficially in love with the city, there are so many good looking ladies...I mean buildings

Our first stop was where Gerald Ford is buried.

We had a driving tour of Heritage Hill. Some of these photos are actually outside HH though.

Great pictures ZachariahDaMan! I've heard that before that there are a lot of beautiful...[buildings]....downtown. :)

It's too bad we couldn't have coordinated your visit with our second tour of the Ice House being renovated (this building):

What's the deal with this boarded up building, does anyone know when it was built, abandoned and if there are any plans for it?

That building is known as the West Side Branch Library. Until they opened up the West Leonard Library, I would go to that particular library if I needed a book to read. It is an excellent library. It received renovation I think in 95, 96...not for sure. The other building that the one member posted next to the Library is St. James Church. That is the church I go to every weekend. But those were some really nice pictures.

You need to plan on being here for the first weekend of October (October 4 & 5) for Heritage Hill Home Tour Weekend! Just imagine how amazing some of the houses are once you get inside the front doors.

In the past the association has had around 10 homes on tour, but there is talk about doing something truly special because it is the 40th anniversary of the Neighborhood Association.
