Lofts for rental downtown?

Moving time and I'm fed up with boring apartment living. I've always loved the idea of lofts and living downtown but until recently it didn't seem feasible. Now there are a slew of choices and the only downside would be pricing. I'm a single guy with a car note so I'm on a budget. I'm wondering just what properties are available for rent that can be recommended. I see there are a lot for sale but I don't think I'm quite ready for mortgage so rental is the direction I want to go.

I can swing about $750 a month so I'm sure this will limit me quite a bit but I'm sure there has to be at least a few out there around this price. Laurel House Lofts are apparently around $700, any other recommendations?
