More East Liberty developments

I just found out that a Target is going to be built on Broad Street. Aparently there might also be a Best Buy going in at the Kingsley Center. I didn't know that place had closed? If anyone knows more about this I would love to hear the details.

This is the Kingsley Center, which I am pretty sure was built just a few years ago...

What is Kingsley Center?

Anyways..... as long as it's one of those urban Targets.. I won't mind... it will be a convenient place to get stuff that's suprisingly difficult to find... like towels and bathroom rugs...

I think it is/was some sort of community center. Not sure what could have gone wrong there. The parking lot always seems to have cars in it. I wish I knew more details.

The Target is supposed to replace the last remaining low-income high-rise.

This Biz Times article details a lot of the projects in East Liberty... including the $40M project by a DC developer in the heart of E. Liberty

Oh, the OLD one!

The new one, pictured above, is along East Liberty Blvd. I don't remember what cross street it's on, but it's not too far from Penn Ave.
