There is a funny rant by George Carlin about how gradually during every war the terms for 'shell shock' (from WW1) have gotten longer, yet more ambigious and perhaps meaningless. For instance it's now called Post Traumatic Stress Disorder unless they now have an even longer term for it.

I actually had a parent tell me the other day - with a straight face - that his child was diagnosed with Oppositional Defiance Disorder. so I asked the guy if that meant his kid pitches temper tantrums from time to time. he answered in the affirmative, whereupon I suggested to him that had he brought his kid to me, I could have told him as much for free.

I have a term for that also. It's called being a 'lil' beotch'. But hey that doesn't sell drugs or make the therapists any money does it?
