But let's get back on topic here...this little park is looking better and better and it's going to be a very nice pedestrian element to hopefully attract more people to walk to Heritage Green from downtown.

Just up the road near the Pete Hollis Gateway, there is some renovation being done on what had been (I believe) an impoundment or body shop lot. The building is being painted dark brown and a nice wrought iron fence has gone up around the lot. Anyone know what's planned for this spot?

The wall for the sign and fountain in this park is turning out to be quite large.

They appear to be taking down the formwork today.

^^ Cool deal. I would imagine that the brick pavers will be going in next? Those have been on site for several days...and I haven't seen the stone for the wall show up yet.

I think there is a sculptural component to be installed on the fountain wall itself. I remember hearing that an artist from Las vegas was commissioned to do the wall. If you look at the rendering of the wall itself as well it shows a sculpture of some sort on the face of the wall.
