Detroit's Freedom Festival Fireworks

Each year, the cities of Detroit and Windsor, Ont. hold the Freedom Festival, a joint Independence Day celebration between the two cities. The festivities culminate in a fireworks display (yep, we get out fireworks display a week before all the other cities).

Man, I really have to make it down there more often. I haven't seen the fireworks, in years. We used to watch them from WSU Stadium/Adams Field stadium at Wayne State.

The Detroit News has some other great perspective of the event.
