Proposed: Avenir

Avenir, proposed by Trinity Financial, at the corner of Canal and Causeway across from the Garden, is now going to be built as apartments. It was originally a condo project, but it never pre-sold enough.

In addition to more than 200 apartments, the project, called Avenir, will contain 28,000 square feet of retail and 116 parking spaces.

Apparantly ground was broken yesterday on this.....still no word on if this is the final design.....since this is the first project at the north end of the "Big Dig", I hope it has respectable design facing the greenway.
