Rested Traveler's Day Trip to Uptown Charlotte

I posted a few of these over in the Southern Photos of the Day thread, but thought I'd post them here to open them up to a wider audience. I hope y'all enjoy Uptown Charlotte as much as I did!

Is that with the Sigma 10-20 you have listed on your site?

Love the angles, thanks for sharing :)

Yes, indeed! I love that lens! I've had it for several months, but this was the first test drive where I went out and "opened it up" to see what it could do.

It's a great lens, Eric. You were able to capture so much with it. I wish I'd had that lens handy when I was last in Houston. That Williams Tower, the tallest building in the US outside of a CBD, is a TALL S.O.B. when photographed through a 28-135mm. I had to photograph it in two sections and I can't for the life of me line them up to make a pano with them. *sigh*

If your city is doing a fireworks show tomorrow night, I hope you come back with some stellar shots! If you use this lens you should be able to get the full effect, from the ground blast, to the streak through the sky, and then the final blast in the sky.

Charlotte is a beautiful city. One of my friends just passed through there last week on his way to/from Washington DC. I was a bit jealous, because I'd love to check that city out myself.
