Nice! I love going to Shaker Village for the dining -- the food is great and isn't your typical standard fare. I have some newsprints of the village before US 68's relocation in the late 1960s, which really did wonders for the park.

Actually, the shakers weren't completely abstinent. It is a common misconception that the shakers never had sex, but they did in order to have children. the shaker population thinned out due to the younger generation leaving the society for the city. I love shaker village! There is another side of shakertown not seen in the pictures. Just visit the trails, there are several fields and waterfalls out on the countryside to be explored, and several miles of horse/hiking trails!
