Tweetsie Railroad celebrates 50th Anniversary

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned here...I'm sure several of us visited this unique little mountain attraction as kids.

Tweetsie Railroad celebrates 50th

Glad to read the park is making progress with their land lease issues. Hope they are able to remain in Watauga County for years to come, as the train itself is an important piece mountain history. It would be sad to see it leave the area.
