This time last week there were 19 trees lining the sidewalks between 22nd and 23rd on 1st Ave North, today there 12. Over the last week the city has cut down 7 trees on just that one block of 1st ave.

Why cut down the trees? Will they plant new ones? Who would have the answer to that question?
