I agree. I hope the setbacks will soon have lighting, but I'm not holding my breath, as it's been this way for months. This may very well be the completed lighting setup.

I love the design but cringe at the thought of the condition of those enclosed stairwells after 10 years of some INTENSE public usage.  Thinking 7th street Station stairwell x100.

Yeah I had initially been hoping for an un-covered bridge for that very reason. Pros/cons.

I've always thought that this corner of town's skyline (at least before the skyhouses) resembled a small town's skyline. Where they have one mid-rise tower type building (like the odell pyramid tower here) and a bunch of slightly shorter-but-still-tall-ish buildings around it. One reason I like that N Tryon is developing more modestly.
