15 plus years ago Noah Lazes, the originator of what became the Music Factory, proposed an access street through Elmwood to his property. This was the most deluded concept.  As the time approached for the City Council to consider it the public outcry convinced him to pull the proposal and use the Seaboard Street access as today.  One Council member publicly stated that ridiculous proposals such as his needed to be eliminated well before the Council hearing stage.

So the observation has been made, as you note, and it has been  been buried deep and no one to mourn it.
