Throughout these proceedings I have often wondered if this sun is setting or rising.  Today I can say, it is indeed rising.  F**king slowly, but it's rising.

I have been trying to get this photo for a while to show the contrast and growth.  KJ a wee lad taking the photo from early 1980s and approximately the same location today.   Older shot going northbound and newer shot going southbound.

Throwback Thursday oh a long time ago in Charlotte years from 2016 we were all excited about these 3 new towers.  and can you name them?  First one to name all has 3 Krispy Kreme doughnuts on me plus a large coffee.

Been working too much lately to get any decent shots, but was able to clear up my Saturday evening. Beautiful fall colors in the Queen City.  A special shout out to BOA tower- built in ‘92 and is still one of the most iconic towers in the country.

[King of the Queen City]

There was an incredible drone video of Charlotte on YouTube recently as an advertisement with night footage flying directly over buildings, which is rare to see since special permission would be required for that.  I wish I could get back to it but since it was an advertisement I can’t find it with any of the other drone videos on YouTube. This one had some pretty cool music as well.  It was differerent from the Charlotte’s got a lot commericials and didn’t have any talking in it. I keep watching videos on YouTube hoping to see this ad again, but with no luck. Does anybody know who was responsible for this commercial and where I could see it again?
