C-17 Globemaster.  The Charlotte Air National Guard Base traded their C-130s for these guys.  Love watching them take off and land.  They typically fly in and out about twice a day.

At about 2:20 in that video, there is a lot of running/activity on the pool deck at the Vue.

these photos exemplify what I call Charlotte Rising.   Look at the 4 steel beams rising at Ally at TP and this is why construction can be a dangerous business.  And I caught another slab of the precast garage going up too.  Today.

To me this shot highlights why 1LU makes a great addition to the skyline. Even if you’re not a fan of the architecture you can’t deny its impact when it comes to density. I still can’t wait to see the pyramid lit up at night!

Love the view from the South Blvd bridge 2nd photo.   Grace Church aka Chalmers Reformed Church where Billy Graham attended as a kid.

There are very few ice cream shops uptown but I've said before, jeni's ice cream would kill it at the spot above stonewall/whole foods. Today at Hawkers. Rail trail btw was super busy. This is how we distinguish our city, hope every business along the trail goes all out.

I thought Jeni’s was local until I saw one in LA this week. 

 

When I went to CLT in like Feb, it was around 37F, 8ish pm if I recall, and there was a line out the door. I was surprised because it was freezing.

Look in the center bottom of that OxBlue photo and those concrete columns are apart of Legacy 2
