^ wow that looks a lot like a painting than a photograph. It doesnt have any sharp edges so it gives it that unique look. I would take some other photographs around uptown with your camera phone and see what else you can snag. Hopefully they turn out exactly like this one cause its really neat.

I was walking out my front door to catch the LYNX when I looked to my left and saw that the squirrel population is being actively culled.

This morning while I was in the bathroom I heard a thud on the roof. I looked up and saw a hawk peering down at me through the skylight. He started pecking at the glass before he flew off.

Awesome shots. Great to see that wildlife is still able to thrive despite our best efforts to take their habitat away. I don't see any bands on it as being a captured/released bird, but I wonder if the Carolina Raptor Center would be interested in the pics.

These pics are much more than just great photographs, they are also quite inspiring. As Raintree said, it is fabulous to know that such magestic creatures manage to make a life for themselves in heavily urbanized areas.
