What is happening at the new development around the Wells Fargo right next to where you shot this photo?

Boutique Office in the front, Apartments in the back. (read as Business in the front, party in the back)

That whole area there is a huge construction zone behind the Wells, at the corner of Kenliworth and Morehead, starting soon the new Cancer center. It is crazy busy.

Here is that project surrounding the Wells branch. I forgot what it was called myself http://www.bizjournals.com/charlotte/news/2016/11/11/new-office-space-in-midtown-hopes-to-address-tight.html

Couple from this cloudy day. Couple closer shots of the Lincoln Harris Charlotte O site and the Stonewall Station. If you look at the last photos plenty of surface lots for future development along south Tryon and Morehead.

When you see an image like this, that 277 gap doesn't feel all that big. I know its huge, but if developed right, cap or not, it shouldn't be THAT BIG of an impediment.

Great photos!

That middle picture above had me thinking...I just realized that I have never really ventured over to that area around that parking deck near the Panthers stadium (besides walking towards the stadium for games).  But are there any retail spots available or currently in the bottom of the deck?  It has such a massive footprint, just wondering too if it was designed to have any structures built on top of it, as well?  Just feel that it is in such a prime location between Panthers stadium and Knights ballpark.

Wasn't designed in that manner, no. However, they did leave the lot on MLK and Graham open for development. David Furman has floated a residential tower there before the recession and recently. I believe it was/is called Homeplate Lofts or something absurdly David Furman of a name.

I love blue buildings in general, but I'm not sold on the color of the hotel. Just seems off with that glass.

That blue isn't the final color.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong but i believe the blue portion will be covered by some metallic panels.
