Love the work of Clear Sky aerial ;photography here are their Uptown shots from March. http://photos.clearskyimages.com/2017-03-16-charlotte-uptown-cbd-aerial-photos

Say what you will of the government district from an urban street standpoint, but we have some very handsome government buildings architecturally.

Based on the focal point of some of those images, I wonder if a renovation of the Community 1 bank building (formerly granite bank) is being planned. Even just replacing the glass would make that a much more attractive building.

KJH, thanks for the taking the time to share your Charlotte pics. I found the exact spot the first photo was taken and my god has it changed! https://goo.gl/maps/ZGCacvsxyon

It's not even the same city at this point!

Yes that is where I was approximately. It is unbelievable how the city is growing. I like then and now photos!

Couple of photos today from various angles. Love the skyline shot from light rail extension by 16th Street. It shows the depth of our skyline.

In person, the view of these two art deco buildings from First Ward truly are a sight to behold. That close-up of a perspective really let's you take in the architectural details. Quite the pair those two: The Queen and her Queen!

Skyline from SouthPark earlier this evening. The skyline is really expanding and it will be nice to see the  BOAT Bank of America Tower next to Duke Energy Center on the far left side. (hey if LincolnHarris wont name that tower I will)

There will be a couple of towers filling in between Bank of America Stadium and Duke.
