Charlotte Photo of the Day

Recommended Posts

Atlantic Station to the GA State Capitol is about 3 miles, roughly equivalent to 12th street to New Bern Station.

What stretches Atlanta out the most is Buckhead, which is another 4.5 miles past Atlantic Station.

Quick trip to Charlotte yesterday. Grabbed this quick shot showing the new Legacy building in comparison to existing structures.

Was that trip taken in a helicopter? Where the hell are you?!

Lately I’ve finally noticed how dense Charlotte is. Although I do like Atlanta’s sprawling Skyline, I like ours just as much. I feel as if in the future Charlotte will have a good collection of sprawling Mid-Rise towers based around Southend, Cherry, and Northend to create an Atlanta effect.

I hope some of y'all are out taking pics tonight (maybe @KJHburg ?) because it's gonna be an epic sunset.

After adding the last photo of this sequence, I'm starting to think all the colored lights might be -- as the kids say today -- a little "extra".  Imho.

Great freakin photos.  Little ol Charlotte has wide hips lol....Look out Denver the QC can hang with the glamour shots now.
