I feel like that video falsley portrays our city, or at least the urban core that a lot of us cherish. See some of the responses below. Nonetheless, thanks for sharing.

Meh, I wouldn't worry about the comments. You could put a video of Mother Teresa feeding orphans on Youtube and you'd get negative comments from some of the trolls over there. Though I agree with the idea that the video really didn't do a good job of presenting the vibrancy of Charlotte.

Check the webcam, they took the 3rd one down over a month ago and nobody posted/noticed it. There is no longer a need for cranes with the 1st and second building.

Today, while walking along the Sugar Creek Greenway on Kings Drive, in the midst of all that heavy traffic, I was surprised to see three ducks in the creek and took this photo.

Here are some pics of our masses of cranes uptown. As for our new tourism slogan "Charlotte's got a lot......of cranes!" The second picture is of the new Charlotte School of Law. They are rolling right along with that building. It will have a great view of the skyline from that location.

A few more, the last 3 I "made" into B&W's by tweaking the contrast and brightness and then converting into grayscale, if there is a better way I'm all ears (though I do like how these turned out).

I couldn't help but think how awesome Charlotte looked on TV during the Panthers game the other night. I think the skyline really grabs people's attentions.

I took a trip down to the QC today for a ride on the light rail. I got a new camera for x-mas and it's a big upgrade from what I had before. Here are a few shots I took while uptown...........

I've heard alot of talk about how great the skyline looks from Wilkinson, so on my way home I decided to see it for myself. Sorry for the sign, but you get the picture.
