Couple miscellaneous skyline shots from South End today.  (included overhead wires so you know I was in Charlotte)  RAM apartment complex on Hawkins corner is prominent construction site seen.

Oops sorry for the double post on those. Didn’t realize I had included them in the previous batch. Even still, it’s a unique bit of architecture. I don’t think it quite qualifies as Brutalist? but generally a nod in that direction.

I tend to agree with folks defending 129 West Trade, but I don't think we'll see the same robust defense of 526 South Church. Except maybe for Quadrille.

Great photos!  Your second photo is of an Eastern Redbud tree.  Fun fact, the tree is part of the pea family and the pink/purple flowers are edible (although they don't have much of a flavor).

2) Jeremy Lamb hits another game winner to beat the Raptors again at home and keep playoff hopes alive. Not quite from half court this time, but exciting nonetheless!

the hornets are so bad at drafting i think they relish the opportunity to finish 9th so there will be no expectation the next draft pick will ever produce.

Give Kupchak a chance. He won 5 NBA Championships as GM of the Lakers. Miles Bridges was a quality pick and could be a future All-Star. He already made an appearance in the Slam Dunk contest this year as a rookie. Winning creates a winning culture and tanking creates a losing culture that is like a cancer. As long as we have even a chance to make the playoffs we should be trying our best to win.  When Cho was GM we got into some cap space trouble that we are still trying to deal with, but if we can find a way to keep Kemba then we can build on what we have going. If not then it will be more of a rebuild next year, but Kemba loves Charlotte and would like to stay if we can pay him.

Remember how the Raptors had Lebron-itis for several years and never could beat the Cavs in the playoffs despite having arguably better overall talent?

They now have Jeremy-itis.

I always prefer the skyline on a gray, cloudy day tbh. It makes everything pop more whilst hiding some 'imperfections', I almost like LU when the weather is like this. Thank you for the photos!
