Interstate Tower is in my top 3 towers uptown. Such an underrated building. Sometimes wish it was a little bit more by itself so it could be noticed more.

Heading west to the open plains, where the buffalo roam (actually American Bison) down to the 2nd biggest canyon in America and to a city with the largest light rail system in USA my Texcation starts soon.  Takes lots of photos ladies and gentlemen in my absence.   Some parting photos of the skyline from various angles today. 

and please let me know if the Levine parking garage opens while I am gone as I will be checking in from time to time.

How do yall manage to take pictures while driving? Do you mount a camera to the window?

Literally just blindly aim and fire.  At least that's how I do it.

Same. Hold the phone sideways and use the volume buttons to take a million pics without looking at it.

I use a point and shoot camera not my phone for 95% of my photos.  No different than if you hold a coffee or phone while driving.  Y'all don't see the hundreds of photos that don't come out or "miss" their targets.

KJ, with a point and shoot, what is your workflow after taking the pics? Stick the SD card in a laptop and upload that way?

Yes pretty easy.

If you have an iPhone- you can shoot a video of a specific area while driving. After you get to a safe place, you can go back and pause the video , and make that your picture.

I've always liked it. Its no masterpeice, but I appreciate it more and more each time I see it. The glass in the last picture looks particularly flattering IMHO. For all of the towers headed over that way it adds a nice contrast. Not as Blade Runner as the rest of the hood.

Hearst Tower.  3rd tallest In town and soon to be fourth tallest of I am correct?  Always loved the lobby of this tower with all the marble and gold accents.

I think it’s going to retain its 3rd tallest title, looks like duke 2 will be just taller than Legacy (but shorter in appearance since it starts further down hill)
