That is the Good Samaritan Hospital historic marker in the photo.

One of the several black facilities lost for the stadium. I was in the Good Samaritan building in the 80's when it was a nursing home. Solidly built but tired and needing everything was my impression and that memory is now historic itself

there is but ONE crown in Charlotte and it sits atop this building.  (no matter what any other developer says)  Today the Bank of America Corporate Center from various angles.

my friend took this one from Romare Bearden and the rest are KJ originals.  Christmas tree from Pinkys Huntersville.  a few more from outside the 485 loop.
