I dont think it will be like the downtown, Midtown Buckhead skyline at all.  Uptown Charlotte will expand outward from the basically 3 block wide stretch on Tryon into 1st Ward, 3rd ward and Brooklyn First ward.  The tallest of buildings will remain inside the loop or very close to it.  Atlanta's skyline is a long stretched out along Peachtree.  Southend skyline will be more random I think as Hawkins but will be close the light rail.  The point is our skyline is not going to stretch for 10 miles like Atlanta's.     Atlanta's tallest building the BofA Plaza is located outside of downtown but slightly south of the core Midtown and then their #2 tower SunTrust is downtown and their #3 One Atlantic (old IBM) tower is in the middle of Midtown.  Their #9 tallest building the 3344 Peachtree is in Buckhead is over 660 feet tall.    That is a scattered skyline.

was entertaining out of town friends this evening a KJ tour from NoDa to Uptown to Southend to Park Road Shopping center to Southpark to Optimist Park to Camp Northend.

(no photos but I did not know the Capitol Towers were lit up at night the domes.  They were red and blue)

Just go on YT every so often and do a search for "Charlotte, NC" or "Charlotte NC Drone", and filter search by "upload date".

Never know what you might find. Found some awesome drone vids on there.
