tarhoosier 5401 Report post Posted May 7, 2020 The Panthers have had a USAF jet quartet form a low elevation flyover for the opening game of the season several times. Our Dilworth house was less than a mile from the stadium and apparently in their flight path. The first time it happened my wife was in her garden at about 1 pm when they came over and scared the pee turkey out of her. She came in and asked me what I knew. I told here and revealed that I had read it was to occur. She made me take an oath I would inform her of these events in the future. (I seem to attract low flying jet aircraft) 1

Stonewall and South end are always impressive in these comparisons. 5

turbocraig 750 Report post Posted May 12, 2020 A glance at the VUE this morning at about 730 reminded me that this building has oh-so-slight obtuse angles on the north and south sides that interplay with light at just a few minutes each day. It’s easy to forget these subtle details since they’re incredibly, mmmm... subtle. But they do add some cool visual texture to what’s probably normally perceived as plain flat sides. I wish it shown like this more often/longer. Pretty nifty. And of course the obligatory QC power line makes an appearance.

You have to select the "historical imagery" clock icon and use the slider to see the Aug 2019 and April 2020 imagery. 1
