How many passengers misread the departure panels and try to board a Charlotte flight at a gate for Charleston flight and vice versa? I think the NC is for the limited attention span passenger, of which I am one often at an airport. It is not a measure of the importance of the airport in the eyes of the airline. 

I was on a flight from Dallas to Charlotte once and after boarding was complete there was a delay as the gate agents had to retrieve a passenger on my plane who was bound for a different destination. He appeared to be disabled in some way from my view a few rows away.

Beautiful sky today.  Getting ready to go Epic Road Trip west 2 so keep me posted on what goes on and if any nightclubs are turned into 3 tower mega projects etc. while I am gone.  Call text me reach out!  Or if Lincoln Harris drops at midnight a rendering of their super secret tower at Stonewall and S Tryon.

I have often wondered why this surprises or bothers anyone. No doubt there are multiple reasons for keeping NC on the end of Charlotte, and  as much as I love Charlotte, and think it’s a fantastic city, which is more recognizable of the two? North Carolina or Charlotte?

Why not? Its approved to eek its way into the 600 club. The steel for the crown doesn't start until 1st week of October.

We are just used to “famous people” coming to town. Everyone respected his privacy and left him alone. 
 

I mean many guys his age (78) are in rest homes already too busy popping viagra and hittin and quitin lol 

The story did make it in the London Daily Mail though, “lost the Jagger swagger”.

Back in town after a long road trip to downtown Nashville, Memphis, Little Rock, Shreveport, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston etc  always makes me appreciate home even more.  It is good to travel to get good ideas and also see what does not work or how blessed we are to live in a growing booming city.  Today.

Agree. I think as a city it's passed time to let it go. We know who we are, the nation knows Charlotte more then ever, and internationally we fare pretty good too.
