what I like about that photo is the angle it shows almost every uptown building and now the southend skyline.  this is a great angle and it shows the width of our skyline which because uptown is so concentrated buildings are missed.

And don’t forget that the sky houses would even extend this view even more. Poor sky houses never get into frame lol. All about perspective though…they look big coming into the city from Graham.

A long time ago on this website I posted Charlotte should try to be the “City of Lights” and it seems every year more and more buildings get lots of lights. 
 

Everyone wants a dumb Ferris Wheel or they come up with ideas that multiple other cities already have. The light thing is pretty unique. The city should run with it.

I dont either as we have no public rooftops in uptown unless you buy a meal or drink.  Plus they are not so kid friendly and a nice wheel like the Vegas, Miami, Atlanta wheels could be a spot to enjoy our skyline views.

Very much agree! I hope the new Duke tower includes some in the same style as the Truist tower. Everyone who comes to visit always compliments the skyline at night, it really is our best feature!

I know many of you want to cap my view here but I love this view with high rises so close to major freeway.  No where else in the Carolinas does this happen. Earlier in the day before the downpours.   (and this entire skyline along 277 is brand new someone who last came to Charlotte 4 years ago would not recognize this)

First the Krispy Kreme around the corner now a Bitty and Beau's Coffeshop I am in heaven.  Today no wonder this neighborhood is attracting 20-31 story apartment towers everywhere.
