My brother was in town and he brought in his gear, so I'm posting this for him. I'm sure I'll post more, this is the one he has up so far. I'll give him the credit since it was NOT my taking:

His website is here. He has a Nikon D50 and the lens he was using on this was a Sigma 10-20mm for those that are photo buffs. He is beyond my expertise so any questions/comments I'll forward to him or you can leave him something on his Flickr.

I love the black and white picture of the "General Parking." Very film noir like. I have always thought that there are more colors to be seen in a black and white photo, if you know what I mean. It is a very powerful photo.

I believe that it was a shoe place off of Morehead and just south of n. Tryon

Went to Marshall Park this morning while in Uptown. This view will be great when the Wachovia tower is completed.

Nice shot, Peyton. That's the only thing Marshall Park is good for: a staging ground for shots of Uptown with an aquatic foreground. Pretty deceptive, LOL.
