Nice photo. Looks like most of the construction is about done in this photo on Duke Center and rhe Vue.

That is a beautiful shot and a different perspective of Charlotte (vibrant street level vs. just skyline). It makes me really wish they had gone forward with the condo tower component of that building as I could just imagine how incredible it would look particularly with the proposed green market at street level

LOL, I promise you it's not. I mean I cleaned up the entire picture a little (contrast, color, sharpness, etc.), but that's pretty much how it looks from this angle in person.

Oh no, I wasn't suggesting that it was, it just looks photoshopped because of its location and color. It seems out of place in a way.

Corp. is still the first thing that catches my eye when I see skyline photos despite the "Power Tower" being so prominent and different.

Beautiful shot with a lot of detail. Uptown looks so much more colorful and even more dense from this angle.

CLTNative....great picture. It makes the city look very dense.

If anyone could recreate this picture, it would be amazing, especially with the lighting around 5pm. The Vue would be taller, DEC essentially completed, and 1BOAC might even pop above the Arlington.

Kudos for positioning yourself for such a wonderful shot and thanks for posting a larger version! The small version in the newsletter was amazing, but when blown up it gives a surreal image of downtown. Certainly gives the most density to the skyline over any other shot I've ever seen.

^yeah the view from the ashton roof is my favorite in the city for that reason.

the only down side is that the ashton's southeastern wing blocks what would be an even more comprehensive view with the nascar hof and midtown/elizabeth beyond (the ashton common area is in the middle between the two wings).
