Tonights timelapse.  Similar to previous ones, but no two are the same!  The colors were pretty vibrant tonight (not as much as last night, but still nice).

I'm at Presbyterian Hospital right now on the 8th floor.in the maternity ward (my first child just arrived yesterday!). The view from up here of the Charlotte skyline is awesome! I stitched three photos together from out of the window of our room:

Nice pic and congratulations on your first child! This view will look even better some day when the surface lots in the foreground are gone. The skyline will look even bigger once the Crescent project is finished too.

I was fortunate enough to spend some time there as well a few years ago when my niece was born.  The lobby windows span the wall in the waiting area. The Power Tower was brand new back then and we got to watch it change colors that night for the first time. It's a great place for a surreal moment.

Man, that Queen City Vintage Skyline shot would be so amazing if not for those powerlines.  It's funny though how they disqualified the honorable mention for not meeting the requirements even though it is almost the exact same shot (too bad it cuts out the Vue though which really stretches out the skyline on its own.)

In addition to the skyline I LOVE how the new park and stadium add density and street life just by being there in that pic.  Makes me crave a Gateway station development even more than ever!
