That's actually my favorite time to see the city.  I reverse commute from Southend to Huntersville.  I love driving south on 77 when the sun hits the city like that.  BOA looks so metallic.  That thing really is a gem.

Question, what is that housing development called.  I'm looking at buying in NC soon and I am considering living "in city" rather that exurban.  I hope I can afford it for that matter.  I  love Charlotte's skyline it's one of the best in country in my opinion.  It was nice to lay eyes on it after being away for so long.  I have to admit though my kids saw Atlanta first when we drove up from FL for the Belk bowl so they were comparing the 2 and I got a little "frustrated" with them.  They hate it when Dad goes on a historical, geograhical and statistical rant about the 4 state area from VA to GA.
