From bidclerk- bid being taken on a 19 story multi-use building with 72 condo units, offices, and a museum:

"Site work and new construction of a multi-use building in Baton Rouge. Design plans call for the construction of a 19-story condominium building that will house offices, a fire museum, and 72 condominiums.

Construction is expected to commence in October 2007. Interested parties may direct inquiries to the developer."

Any chance that this is a new project or just a re-worked Riverplace?

No yall... bidclerk.com is known for doing that stupid crap for some reason....why?? I wish I knew. This is the new "Brownstones" posted yesterday on Laurel and Fifth.. this is the "same" site that was supposed to originally be the 19-story Laurel Tower. Laurel Tower did not work bec. the funding planned for the CATS Transit Station.

Months back bidclerk still reported RiverPlace at 36-stories; eventhough the redesign had already taken place.... and is now(still) 30-stories.

The Advocate Site plans won't be announced until around Christmas.

Bidclerk is stinkin' confusing with the larger BR projects for some unknown reason.
