A Stroll Through "Midtown"

Over the past month I had several urges to get out and do some more exploring of the Baptist Hospital, Five Points, and Thruway areas (I like to call these areas Midtown). These are some of the photos I took while I was out. Hope you enjoy!

Is that the old Piedmont Airlines headquarters in the background

I think so; there are twin buildings there, and the one in the picture was Piedmont Airlines and the other was IBM.

It is indeed the old Piedmont HQ building. I believe the area is still called 'Piedmont Plaza.'

Yes, there is still a sign in the square there at Five Points that says "Piedmont Plaza."
