The Trinity Bluff section of the Trinity River Vision will be getting another element soon as construction nears on Villa de Leon, a new six story luxury condo development on Samuels Avenue along the cliffs looking over the river. The condos will sell for an average of $350 a square foot, meaning the units, at 2,500 to 3,000 square feet, will likely range between $875,000 and slightly more than $1 million.

The building is designed by local architect Ames Fender, grandson of Wyatt Hedrick, one of Fort Worth's greatest architects of the '30s and '40s. Here are some renderings - first, the view from Samuels Avenue:
