I've recieved a gift from my parents for my acceptance into the school of architecture at my university. It was titled New China Architeture and I just thought, how crazy these new building designs are. I mean there are all the new 08 olympic venues that are almost completed and a few more civic buildings. But, does anyone else feel that china is just a big canvas for architects to just slab on new designs to experiment? I don't mean to be offensive because there are some that I do like. However, there are some that I have no idea what the architect is trying to convey.
