Investment cost would not hinder private development when demand is high.  We have seen plenty of examples recently in various cities around the world.  Public investment would likely be affected in some cases when projects are deemed non-essential to economic growth.  Greenville's leaders have navigated fluctuations in cost and demand in the past and likely will continue to work with private investors on some of the most visible and economically important projects.

3 sold. Been that way for a long time though.

Thanks -- I sure wouldn't be itching to pull the trigger on a place that has a giant water feature, and a robotic parking system. Both seem like major maintenance items and potentials for large assessments for the HOA in both the short and long term.

How long until the five buyers walk away from this joke if they haven’t already? I’m surprised they haven’t taken legal action against the developer especially if there was any deposit money involved. Maybe the developer will decide to put a graveyard on site of all of the failed projects downtown instead. :D
