City Hires Attorneys

The City of Jackson has retained council from the firm of Phelps, Dunbar to reprenent itself in the event that the FBI probe moves forward. I would venture that this is a likely possibility, especially when one considers that FBI agents have been nosing around Jackson for the past several months. Mayor Melton's disastrous actions may well be the subject of these investigations. Whtever this is, it's not wonderful news for the city, especially so as the city will be held responsible for the actions of its mayor.
