Cheers.

The large green area is Moore & Centennial Parks and they're exactly that i.e. park areas. The low-rise buildings in the middle make-up a school. Also where Fox Studios is located (So Matrix, Attack of the Clones and Moulin Rouge etc. were shot). It's also the largest green area in the 2nd last pic - just left of middle.

Sweet aerials Delta!

In fact it's just now that I realized from the aerials how neatly planned Sydney is. From your first pic (or the last one, though fuzzier) you see the Moore/Centennial Parks form along the edges of essentially a vertical wall for the CBD - very much like Central Park in NYC actually - and the Opera House as a distinct oasis at the edge of the park.

A bit of confusion there Wendell. My reply in regard to the huge green space is what swags was asking about in the first pic posts.

The large green space you were referring to is actually The Botanical Gardens and The Domain.
