Downtown Fort Worth - New Night Photos

FortWorthology

Went for a walk tonight and grabbed these shots with a tripod. It was ultra-humid, fogged up the lens something fierce, but I was able to get it clean enough.

I haven't done as much night photography as I'd like, so hopefully I'm not too out-of-practice. Enjoy!

Starting out in SoDo:

The Flatiron may be even prettier at night:

Lots of people passed by - you can see images of them near the clock, blurred by the slow shutter speed:

Loved the color blurs:

More ghost people in the crosswalk, and a conversation going on there on the 2nd floor of Barnes & Noble. Big crowds at the Palace, as usual:

Big crowd assembled for live music at 8.0's courtyard:

Very sexy shots, indeed, Kevin! Thanks for posting them. Fort Worth had me at "hello," but these shots really help drive it home.

Nighttime long exposure photography is one of my favorite passtimes! I've now got the itch to get out along Main Street in downtown G-Vegas again very soon.

Do you find that pedestrians walking toward you try to move out of the way of the shot. I see that a lot here. They'll walk towards me and then pause and take a step back and ask if it's OK. I usually encourage them to keep going and say "if you move quickly enough, you'll not even show up in the photo."
