Novice Developer Eyes Hotel/Condo Project In Downtown Greensboro

Well I just read the business Journal and downtown developer and part owner of the Elm Street Center Milton Kern is looking at the idea at some point in attaching a high-rise boutique hotel to the Elm Street Center. This would not be the 13-story condo/boutique hotel that John Adcox is planning or the proposed 20-story luxury hotel/convention center in the Triumph Center. Potentially, and I repeat potentially we could see three high-rise hotels pop up downtown. I do think that is very realistic if Greensboro gets a downtown convention center. Hotels tend to pop up near convention centers.
