Downtown Palo Alto

Thanks for posting!

I love how each city on the peninsula has its own urban core and is often connected to the CalTrain station. Palo Alto's one of the more impressive. "The City of the Future"

On my last trip to the Bay Area this summer, I went through each town between SF and San Jose. Mountain View was also interesting because it's almost solidly Chinese, so the Downtown was like an upscale Chinatown. Redwood City is also pretty nice.

charming...i now see what you mean about downtown's similarities to Greenville...Palo Alto though, has more going on in its downtown than Oakland, a major city with a dead downtown...

Ahh, good old PA. I went to high school there, so some time in downtown was pretty frequent. I see in the corner of one of the photos you found Lytton Square...you found where the hippies and druggies hang out :D I've never done drugs but it's the most fun corner anywhere in PA.
