found some more info on Povidence Village North Macon(new name)info comes from a loopnet pdf.

there will be 160 one and two bedroom lofts,rents will range from 1,000 to 1,250 a month.looks like two

restaurants have signed letters of intent,the ones on the pdf are Griile 29 and Amici.ground breaking fall

2008 opening summer 2009.

Ok that Great, Macon does need more theaters, do you know if they are still going on with the plans for another movie theater in south Macon/Bibb county in the Hartley bridge rd. project.

That's still the plan but,it is still a couple of years away.Wal-Mart and Publix are going in first,construction to start in mid 2009.

building1b-Amici

building2b-Grill 29,Central Bank,Market street coffee.

office building-Waiters & Foshee Insurance,Atlantic Southern bank,Ashley Walker DMD.

Providence Village at North Macon has contracted with Coldwell Banker to assist in leasing space. The following link is the most detailed info released to date on the project. Above restaurants and businesses are confirmed.

Rob Ballard the developer of Providence Village said the first building will go up in the spring.He also said the

upper floors would be condos or for lease lofts.The economy has effected the development they are only going

to build one mixed-use building and the office building first.originally the first phase was going to be 4 mixed-use and

the office buildings.

looks like Macon Dental got tired of waiting for the office building to be built.

they haved backed out of thier lease and instead will go in the Lakeside Commons office building.

It also looks like coldwell banker is no longer leasing the property.I'm starting to wonder if the village

will ever get built.I don't think the developer has a clue to what he's doing.
