they never update that website.all the info on there is out of date. The Summit Group is now handling the leasing.the are trying to sell it of in parcels now. http://www.thesummitgroupmacon.com/listings/images/listing_pdf/568.pdf

Site work has begun on the infrastructure for the office suite area of this project, based on the most recent site plan. Also, any update on buildings 4A1 and 4A2 in the above PDF document - they are listed as PENDING . . . I'm assuming that means pending sale/lease?

A dental office and a doctor's office will be the first two bulidings in the office park area.

Yep, the doctor's office, for Dr Jason Woods, is going up now. Any word on which dental office is opening there?

On a different note, it appears that Natalia's, the restaurant that opened there sometime late last year, will be setting a record for reservations and revenue this year. I never had a reason to drive by the old Natalia's location in the evenings, but there's not a day that goes by that the parking lot at the new location is not absolutely slammed. Every night of the week - slammed! I didn't realize there were that many people in Macon who enjoyed paying $150 for a meal for two that regularly. I, for one, am happy that it's doing well and happy to have such an up-scale dining option in the development. Now they just need to add a Taco Bell to even out the average dinner cost!

To my fellow Georgians and rock star Yerocal,

I'm Andy Anderson; a Maconite living in Lynnwood, WA (Seattle). I've discovered these post a few months ago and I'm so excited of the action in Macon. I was in Macon last week to bury my Father; May G-D's blessings be upon him, but I was moved to see what you guys are talking about in relations to the development. Between Seattle and Portland, I've lived out here for over 15 years and I'm bold to say that Macon-Warner Robins is the next darlings to blow up in the vein of Portland, Oregon, the king of Urbanism. I drove around Downtown and I see a goldmine of opportunity. I'm so stoked, I told my wife that I will set up the HQ of my Tech Startup back home and they will share the vision with Bellingham, WA and Surrey, British Columbia. You guys have connections in various places and are so informative. But from my view of North Macon's rise, here is my analysis:

1. Home Depot or Lowes should NOT be a part of the Providence Village(North Macon Town Centre). This is not a good look. I'm looking at the renderings of Dunwoody/Beeland, and they should stick to shoppes/offices/ gym(LA Fitness or I prefer a Local gym).

2. A Lifestyle Village should be placed next to Bass Pro Shops. A district of Outdoors related stores would be great (REI, Zumiez, Pac-Sun, Nike Town, Columbia Sportwear and Patagonia) and Rock Climbing set up would be a good fit.

3. A Premium Outlet Center, This would a great fit in Macon, across the street from Coliseum Hospital. Source for an example:

Downtown:

1. Macon needs Downtown housing (Target 35,000) This can spur a downtown Grocery Store, and Grocery store like Portland, Oregon's New Seasons, A food Co-Op.

2. Niche Industry. Focus on Tech, Healthcare and Bio-Science, and Education and they will come.

3. Bike Trails and walking paths over the city. Macon needs to build a network of bike paths and trails, Creative class people are active. That's why they flock to Boise, Denver, Salt Lake, Portland, Seattle, Bellingham and Vancouver.

4. Mixed used Towers, Macon could use 5 mixed use Office Towers. Also 5 Condo Towers and amenities like a Downtown Mixed Use  tower:

Example: Pioneer Place in Portland, Oregon

Other Sites for inspiration for ya'll to share with the folks: Let's go in this direction.

Mill Creek Town Center- Mill Creek, Washington

Bridgeport Village- Tualitin, Oregon

Streets at Tanasbourne- Hillsboro, Oregon

For other information, check out the City of Portland, Portland PDC, City of Bellingham and City of Surrey, BC, this is the path we should take. Lifestyle, fitness, bike paths as our fellow Southerners need to lose weight. Chattanooga and Asheville has got a head start on us, but we can and will do it. Much love from Seattle from a Maconite!! And Go Hawks!!!!!

Yeh, kinda but not quite as dense. Macon doesnt do the inder ground parking thing yet, so they have to spread the development out some for patrons to be able to park.

Times are different now, so Macon should embrace the underground parking under the developments. Also to do chic looking parking garages. For an example of this, look at Lynnwood's Alderwood Mall and Tigard, Oregon's Washington Square Mall.
